The Master Planning for the 223 Acres of land for the Shrimad Rajchandra Mission, in Dharampur was organized as a 2 stage Design Competition amidst invited Participants.
The programme could be broadly divided into Spiritual and Residential clusters. The Spiritual Complex included a Temple, an Auditorium for 5,000 people, a Meditation Hall, a Museum, a Library as well as a Dining Hall for 15,000 people.
The second part, the accommodation facilities comprised of studio apartments, 1, 2 & 3 BHK apartments and villas designed to suit varying budgets. Guest houses and suitable residential provisions for short term visitors were included within the brief as well.
Group Seven Architects was one of the 3 shortlisted entries for competition, amidst a number of participants selected across the profession.
